As a second part of our series we thought to give you a list of questions to ask during the buying process (mainly applies to apartments). The answers and also how the questions are answered can reveal more about the seller and the property.
Why is the owner selling? How long have they lived in the apartment/house?
How are the neighbours? Mostly tenants or residents? any airbnb-s in the building?
When was the apartment last renovated?
What bigger renovations have been done to the house? When was the roof changed/renovated?
When were the piping & electricity systems changed in the apartment?
How is the temperature in winter? Are the neighbours quiet?
How big are the communal costs?
How is the parking arranged? Is there a storage facility? How is the use of them regulated?
Is the housing association functioning well?
What is included in the price - what parts of the interior like furniture stay and what does not stay.
